ENVIROFIESTA 07,
BIG NAMES FOR A HUGE DAY

The largest
line-up of local performing talent in Cairns this year will be joined
by Shane Howard,
ex-Goanna Band, at the upcoming Envirofiesta 2007, compliments of the
Cairns and Far North Environment Centre. This year's Envirofiesta has a
packed
program of music, fashion, dance and caberet. A monster Garage
Sale, a record number of market and information stalls makes the day a great value
experience.
Shane Howard’s
song ‘Solid Rock’ still reverberates across the airwaves, a quarter of a
century after being penned, and Shane says coming back to the far north
is something he looks forward to.
This years’
Envirofiesta boasts the great Recycled Fashion Parade, a recycled art
exhibition, circus space for children, market stalls, and a huge range

Over one hundred and fifity volunteers make this event one of the
greatest hands-on community events in the Far North. All
the proceeds of the festival go to funding CAFNEC important work
towards building a sustainable and enjoyable future for the Far
North.
