Raging out of Kuranda this 6 piece Hip-Hop Reggae family team
is on Fire. After a massive gig at the Kuranda Roots festival these
boys r ready to burn the stage at Envirofiesta. Get ready for some hard
hitting lyrics wild crowd work and serious reggae from Zennith.
Pachooka
Born in the desolate cultural landscape that is Townsville this crew
has wowed audiences all over the east Coast. As Envirofiesta is an old
time favourite of theirs this crew is sure to deliver some big sound
funk and reggae. With two successful recordings (Groove Shoes EP
& Sonic Life Vibe - Pandamonium Records/MGM) and an ever
evolving sound, Pachooka continue to deliver new music to dancefloors
and sound systems for your feet and ears. Get your dose….
Fink
Up from from Bangalow, NSW. Original four piece jazz funk ensemble,
highly
energetic, great grooves,
lots of fun. Gabrielle also sings with Hudibrastic
Funk, a long established energitic Funk outfit.
McMenamins
Fleur and Simon, who grew up in Cairns NQ, have been
performing together since 2003 supporting some of Australia's top
artists in some of the country's leading venues. Their independent
self-titled debut and their second release "in this light" have gained
critical acclaim and substantial airplay on Triple J and ABC radio as
well as many regional, international and internet stations.

World music with a distinct local touch. With one of the most
diverse percussion racks and moving vocals this group will take you on
blissful journeys.
Danny
Simony
Lunchtime, inter-active clowning, comedy and mime. Danny
Simony, is a versatile
and entertaining performer.
He has worked in front of live audiences and for television. Danny
started clowning when a friend suggested that he do a street act to
draw the crowd to his ice-cream stall.
Simone Elias band
One of the stars of Yungaburra folk festival and many other
top events. Simone has been continuing to shine as her rich talent
takes on the experience she is going places. Listen

Evans
This girl has some power in her voice. Her gutsy rootsy
flavour stirs the hardest heart and brings home a strong message.
Maturing into a wonderful mother this young woman has some great
material. Come early to catch her. and her funky three piece band.
Dub Rascals
The 2008 Envirofiesta sees the Dub Rascals carry on where
they left off at the Kuranda Roots Festival, with the 'little rascal'
and Symonard mixing up a dubby storm of mostly dubstep music on the DJ
decks and percussion. They will be joined in collaboration for his
first ever Dub Rascals performance by internationally renowned
drummer/percussionist, Ben Hakalitz on the electronic skins and
traditional percussive things.
Ben is from Bouganville, PNG (currently living in Cairns) and is one of
PNG's most accomplished musicians. He is currently the drummer for
Australian Indigenous band Yothu Yindi. Ben has a great knowledge of
traditional music from different areas of PNG, especially log drum
rhythms of Manus and Sepik. He has travelled the world for the past 7
years as a professional freelance musician. In this time he has worked
with artists such as Sanguma, Tambaran Culture, Telek, Not Drowning
Waving, Yothu Yindi, Edou, Toni Nation and more.

Williams
From Cardiff in Wales, Steve is a singer songwriter who performs
original, often moving compositions, touching on topics we can all
relate to. A solid yet understated guitarist, the emphasis is on the
vocal performance, ensuring the song is sung and the sentiment carried.
Steve has now settled permanently in Cairns and with his latest album “Bones” receiving acclaim he has become a popular favourite on the local music scene.

Bringing her rich Maori and western music experiences together
this
lady sings straight from the heart. Her original music has stories that
everyone can relate to.
Heath Steven
An acoustic musician from Melbourne. Influences include grunge
and folk.
Steve Baker
One man one Ukeleli. Lyric based accoustic guitar
driven musings of a middle class cynical Aussie yuppie!! Against his
better judgement, protesting, Steve Baker is going
along with the crowd.
